📝 Pre-registration
The admission process begins with online pre-registration, in which interested families complete an initial form to register their child as an applicant. This step is essential to open the file and continue the process.

Why is this step important?
🔍 It allows us to properly track each case. In addition, you will have access to the platform at any time to check the status of your process online.
🏫 Open Day
The Open Day is the first direct contact between families and the school. During this meeting:
- ✨ You will learn about our educational proposal in detail.
- 🏫 You will tour our facilities.
- 💬 You will have the opportunity to clarify all your doubts and make sure our proposal aligns with your expectations.
⚠️ Important note: Attendance to Open Day is mandatory to continue with the admissions process.
📑 Registration & Documents
This step is only available for families who have already attended the admissions informational meeting.
📌 What do you need to do?
- 1️⃣ Log into the platform with the email and password you registered during pre-registration.
- 2️⃣ Make the payment for the admission process: COP $100,000.
- 3️⃣ Complete additional information and upload the required documentation, which includes:
- 📂 Academic records.
- 🆔 Identity documents.
- 📄 Any other documents requested by the school.
💡 This step is fundamental to proceed to the next phase.
👩💼 Interview
Once you have submitted all the required documentation, an interview will be scheduled with the Admissions Coordinator, exclusively for parents.

This conversation allows us to get to know you better, understand your motivations, and evaluate how they fit with the values and principles of Colegio Cumbres.
⚠️ Note: The interview is a key component for the evaluation by the Admissions Committee.

The Admissions Committee will carefully review:
- 📂 All submitted documentation.
- 💬 The results of the interview.
- 📝 The information gathered during the process.
📌 What does the committee do?
The committee is responsible for determining whether the family is admitted or not.
📩 Family Response
After the Admissions Committee’s review, families will receive a response to the emails registered in the form.
✅ If your child is admitted:
- 1️⃣ You must confirm your acceptance of the spot via email.
- 2️⃣ You will receive instructions to make the payment for the pre-enrollment or enrollment, as applicable.
❌ If not admitted:
You will be notified by the same means. No detailed explanations will be given, and the process will be considered closed.
💳 Pre-enrollment
The pre-enrollment is a partial payment of the total enrollment fee, which will be deducted at the time of official enrollment.
📆 When should I make this payment?
The deadline will be communicated through correspondence sent to your family.
⚠️ Important note: The pre-enrollment payment is mandatory to guarantee the spot. If it is not made within the established deadline, the admissions office will assign the spot to another applicant.

👶 Applicant Observations
📌 For applicants from Kindergarten 4 onwards, observations are made to comprehensively understand the student in the following aspects:
- Academic.
- Social.
- Emotional.
⚠️ This step allows contrasting the student’s current situation with the context of the desired grade, ensuring proper adaptation.
📍 In some cases, an internship for the applicant may be recommended. The results of these observations are again presented to the Admissions Committee for the final decision.
🏁 Final Decision by the Admissions Committee
📌 After reviewing all the collected information, including observation results, the Committee issues a final recommendation on the applicant’s admission.
📩 Family Response
Families will receive an email with the final result of the process:
- ✅ If admitted: They are requested to confirm acceptance of the spot. Once accepted, they will receive instructions to make the pre-enrollment or enrollment payment.
- ❌ If not admitted: Families will also be notified by email, concluding the process without detailed explanation.
🎓 Enrollment
If the applicant is admitted, the family will receive an email with detailed instructions to complete the enrollment process.
